02/08/2004 - We will be playing our last ever gig at Bannermans on 26th August
supporting Mystery Juice. See gig page for details.

We have decided to call it a day for various reasons - there have been no bust
ups and we're all still friends.

Thank you to all our friends and loved ones who have supported us over the last few
years and came along to all those gigs - especially late on school nights.

We all have various musical projects to go to. Shona and Don have started a new
band called The Dead Beat Club taking a different musical direction from Kabuki
in the shape of accoustic rock.

Alex and Fraser have hooked up with another local artist - Douglas Kay and play under
the name The Douglas Kay band.

Phil and I are planning on starting a new electronic/dance based project. A handful of
Kabuki songs will be put to new music in addition to brand new tunes/songs. We plan
to use different singers and occassionally other musicians, don't be surprised if
former members of Kabuki appear now and then on some of the songs.

The decision to end Kabuki has not been easy and I hope as many of you as possible
come along to support us at Bannermans on 26th August.
